Privacy
Short version: we keep what the game needs to work, we don't sell anything, and we don't run ads or tracking.

This website
faajigames.com sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or ads. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security, and may set short-lived security cookies to stop abuse. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when it sends them.
The mailing list
If you sign up for news, we keep your email address so we can tell you when a new game is ready. Nothing else.
- You only join after you tap the link in our confirmation email.
- We send it with Resend, which stores the list for us.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect straight away.
- The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. It checks your browser for signs of automation, not who you are.
Our games
You can play Ayò Ọlọ́pọ́n against the computer without an account. To play online, we keep:
- Your username and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We can't read your password.
- Your games and moves, friends, invitations and tournaments, so they work and show up in your history.
- If you allow notifications: a notification token from Google Firebase or your browser, and your language, so we can tell you it's your turn.
We don't ask for your real name, phone number, location or contacts. Other players can see your username, your games against them, and leaderboard results.
Who else handles it
- Hetzner (Germany) hosts the game server and database.
- Google Firebase delivers notifications.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and protects the signup form.
- Resend stores the mailing list and sends its emails.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and everything linked to it. Email [email protected] with your username. We'll confirm it's your account, then delete it within 30 days. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023; you can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
Our games are fine for all ages, but online accounts are meant for players 13 and older.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for big changes, tell the mailing list.
